“A long time ago, in a city far, far away, a mathematician solved a puzzle, the solution of which made our modern, connected world possible. Little Minute and Georgia Tech’s School of Mathematics have teamed up for a free public event about the Seven Bridges of Königsberg, to celebrate this history, spark curiosity, and convey the wonder of mathematics.

“Remember that time the highway burned down? Atlanta traffic, an old flame that won’t quit. Created in the chaos of the rebirth of I-85, PILEUP is a dance theatre work set to an original score by Mason Brown and Devin Brown. It was created as a site-specific work for Midtown Players Club and shown as part of the Hambidge Hive Project at Colony Square.”

"Consciousness, the final frontier. The vast and indispensable key to the ultimate mystery, endless and unfathomable. The very thing that allows us to look into the mirror of the soul and perceive our own existence. Consciousness is both our final destination and the means of travel." -EBWM
//
"When we bring consciousness to our power, we have not only activity, but directed transformation. Instead of blindly acting through trial and error, we now use our intelligence to create a strategy. We make a plan to guide our actions. With vision, inspiration, communication, and love, we can energize that plan and direct it with clear intent." -EBWM
//
"Last night, as I was sleeping,
I dreamt - marvelous error! -
That I had a beehive here inside my heart.
And the golden bees
Were making white combs
And sweet honey
From my old failures"
-Antonia Machado (translated by Robert Bly)
Maggie Benoit and Kellie Vinal enter Meredith Kooi's Bucky Dome Zone to discuss movement, mental health, art, and science. // 12.1.16
